Are you a newcomer between the ages of 16-30?
As a part of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) project funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), JVS Toronto will be conducting focus groups with newcomer youth between the ages of 16 to 30 years of age who have been in Canada for ten years or less.
JVS Toronto is inviting any newcomer youth to come and share their experiences related to employment. The purpose of this research is to identify the barriers to employment experienced by newcomer youth and to create recommendations for how employment and settlement service providers can better serve newcomer youth in the GTA.
Focus groups are 1.5 hours long and all sessions will be online.
