Progress Career Planning Institute is hosting a virtual information session for newcomers on current employment law and workers’ rights

Join for a FREE info session on Tuesday August 13, 2024 from 10-11:30 AM to: 

  • Learn about new changes in Employment Law in Ontario.
  • Get an overview of the Employment Standards Act including wages, vacation pay, holiday pay, termination pay, and overtime pay.
  • Understand what employee rights are when working in Ontario.
  • Know how to file a complaint.
  • Understand the claim process.

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Landed Immigrant with a valid PR Card
  • Convention Refugee with notice of decision
  • Ukrainian Temporary Residents (CUAET), and dependents.
