What's Landscape Ontario?
Landscape Ontario is the province's premier horticultural trades association with over 2,800 employer members province-wide. The GROW Program is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario. All training is provided free of charge.
About this event
The GROW: New Entrant Training Program offers four weeks of online and in-person training followed by a two-week paid job placement in the Muskoka-Kawartha region or the Greater Toronto & Hamilton area.
Developed by industry professionals, the GROW curriculum will help you kick start your career in landscape and horticulture.
Eligibility Requirements
- Age 18+
- Resident of Ontario
- Seeking full-time employment
- Unemployed or underemployed
- Available to attend full-time training
Skills Training
- 4 WEEKS
- Monday-Friday | 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Featuring online & hands-on learning at Landscape Ontario in Milton. Transportation available within the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area.
Paid Workplace Trial
- 2 WEEKS
- Schedule & pay rate set by employer.
Full-time on-the-job training with a sector employer in your area. Training positions are intended to lead to regular employment.
